This was a great post! I can imagine how you felt Tara. I would've left the door unanswered... we get random people selling potatoes here or JW people trying to get us to join their religion so unless expecting visitors or a delivery that door would remain shut in that type of situation 😆😂
Unfortunately , the location of the sofa and the front door is visible when the curtains are open so I saw them before they knocked and they saw me so I had no choice but to answer !!
This is spooky! I can imagine it, ay I would have shut the door so fast and I am not a rude person but I would be freeked out!!! Very great post Tara, I enjoyed to read this!
I was stunned when I opened the door and they introduced themselves to me as being from the church …I just wish someone else was with me to be a witness ! lol …thanks for reading 🙂
I read a book a number of years ago called Struck by Lightning. It was written by a math professor in Toronto and explores the idea of probability. The author walks through many situations where we instinctively think, what are the odds of that happening?—and then shows, using math, that the odds are often much higher than we imagine.
Still, I’d love to see that professor run this particular coincidence through his calculator. Until then, I think I’ll remain a spooked by this one.
Great story, Tara. Looking forward to more from you! 😊
Thank you so much Alex, truly appreciate your beautiful feedback! Thanks for all your support to this publication and I totally agree about Tara's word, kindness flows through her lines 💯
I enjoyed the strange synchronicity between film and real time scene. Knocking at the exact time of a film with a similar theme. Eerie and cool. ✍️👏👏👏👏
Thank you again Tara for taking part, I really enjoyed reading this and can imagine how you felt! Looking forward to reading your future work!
Thank you C Simone !

That title screen still sitting there waiting while the real knock happened, oh come on... T_T
It happened ! lol and I still watched the movie afterwards too ! Thanks for reading!
I know right!!! Thanks for reading and supporting Tara’s work 😊✨

Thank you for reading and commenting Cati! I can vouch you’re far from rude! I would’ve been freaked out too!!

I think the odds are pretty low that this particular situation would happen the way it did !
Thank you for reading! 🙂
They are pretty low!
this stopped me completely. The timing of that knock. The movie paused on the title
screen. Calling your dad because he'd understand exactly
why it was so strange and so perfectly timed.
That last line got me "I hoped they would always be met
with kindness in return." After everything the movie shows
you, that's such a human thing to hold onto.
And what a way to launch Tara's first post. The Kind Path
is already living up to its name.
Thank you for this series. Some of the best writing I've
read in a while lives right here.
Thank you so much for your kind comment . 🙂

I know right… imagine that happening! Definitely eerie!
