Goodbye 2025!
A poetic reflection
2025 was the year of many lessons to learn A year where laughter roared At the challenges brought forth For victory won! And I choose it every time For I refuse to eat the cake of woe Nor sip from the cup Of doom and gloom For those entities I have no room A milestone we celebrated We turned 40 in 2025! ⨠They say life begins Well I choose to thrive! I hope to never again shut away My creativity For Mini-me Is an artist that deserves to stay free I will sing I will write I will draw I will dance I will grow I will cheer for others And myself Because we are alive We are here to live To be free! For this is our destiny I will appreciate the rain The storm The sun The moon I will continue to appreciate you My family My friends My readers This life we have right now Is like a season or a year It will transcend to another So let's appreciate one another If I do get to live out more years to come Iām choosing to be present Appreciating the gift of 'now' I will continue to show gratitude, never strife Collecting good karma Artistically flying on the highs of life

This poem was a beautiful reflection on 2025, C Simone. āØ
I enjoyed every line, but if I had to choose just one, it would be this:
ā If I do get to live out more years to come ā
That line is incredibly powerful in its humility. It acknowledges that nothing is guaranteed, and that awareness invites presence into how you live each day. It keeps you grounded ā and I love that.
Thank you for all of your support on my page. I wish you and your family the very best that 2026 has to offer. š
Thank you so much Kevin!š
I wrote this about a week ago & scheduled it for today, 2025 has been a great year and challenging in it's own way but overall learnt so much & made such great memories!
One of the greatest lessons for me has been to be present in this fast paced, techy world & to not taken time for granted so this is part of the inspiration for that line as tomorrow is not promised to all but we have now āØļø
